Dear colleagues,

The impact of global climate change on sustainable forest ecosystems has become a major concern for scientists, policymakers, and the public. Forests are essential for mitigating climate change by absorbing carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases. However, they are also vulnerable to the negative effects of climate change, including drought, wildfires, and insect infestations. To maintain the health and productivity of forest ecosystems, it is crucial to understand the complex interactions between climate change and forest ecosystems. This includes examining the impact of changing temperature and precipitation patterns on forest growth and productivity, as well as the role of forest management practices in promoting ecosystem resilience. Furthermore, efforts to promote sustainable forest management must be supported by policies that address the underlying drivers of deforestation and forest degradation, including unsustainable logging and land-use change. By taking a comprehensive approach to sustainable forest management, we can help ensure the continued health and productivity of these vital ecosystems in the face of global climate change.
