Dear Colleagues, 

 

This Special Issue focuses on the broad and highly challenging topic of “Transformations in Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure While Addressing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The purpose of this Special Issue is to address the most recent advancements and transformations encountered at the level of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with a keen focus on industry, innovation, and infrastructure. On the one hand, this Special Issue acknowledges the importance of supporting economic development starting from the crucial need to foster quality, reliable, sustainable, and resilient infrastructure. On the other hand, this Special Issue highlights the role played by education in building resilient and sustainable infrastructure, aiming to support sustainable development and human well-being.               

In this Special Issue, original research articles and reviews are welcome. Research areas may include (but not limited to) the following: social and environmental responsibility in business; environmental and social management; achieving excellence in business activities while addressing the challenges derived from acting socially and environmentally responsible; globalization and the changes and challenges encountered by transport and energy supply systems; corporate and social entrepreneurship; intellectual capital; intellectual property; women entrepreneurs and their education and development potential in accordance with acting responsibly in business; entrepreneurship in developed and developing countries; entrepreneurial behavior; communication and innovation networks; sustainable educational infrastructure; innovation best practices; research and development; international networks and partnerships; policy and regulatory frameworks for a green economy; and the importance and role of circular economy for a better future for all.
