This special issue aims to explore the intersection of digital infrastructure and low-carbon energy transition, emphasizing their critical roles in climate change adaptation. It focuses on innovative digital technologies that enhance the efficiency, reliability, and sustainability of energy systems, facilitating the shift to low-carbon solutions.

 

We invite contributions that address a wide range of topics, including but not limited to smart grids, digital twin technologies, renewable energy integration, energy storage solutions, and data analytics for energy efficiency. Studies examining policy frameworks, economic implications, and social impacts of digital infrastructure in supporting low-carbon energy transitions are also welcome. The scope encompasses theoretical research, empirical studies, case studies, and reviews that offer insights into the synergies between digital advancements and sustainable energy practices.

 

The purpose of this special issue is to provide a comprehensive platform for researchers, policymakers, and practitioners to share knowledge and advancements in digital technologies that support the transition to low-carbon energy systems.
