This special issue aims to focus on the integration of circular economy principles and sustainable supply chain management practices. This topic is imperative as businesses and policymakers increasingly recognize the need for the transition towards more environmentally conscious and resource-efficient economic models. This is because integrating a circular economy with sustainable supply chains enables businesses to minimise waste, conserve resources, reduce environmental impact, enhance resilience, foster innovation, and ensure long-term economic viability for businesses and society.
By aligning circular economy principles with supply chain management practices, businesses should be able to achieve significant environmental and economic benefits, including resource optimization, waste reduction, cost savings, and enhanced competitiveness. Hence, this special issue proposed to explore various facets of integrating circular economy and sustainable supply chain management, covering topics such as:

Hence, we anticipate contributions from leading scholars, industry experts, and organizations actively implementing circular economy initiatives within their supply chain operations.
