Dear Colleagues,

Nanochemistry is confinement of chemical reactions on nanometer length scale to produce chemical products that are of nanometer dimensions (1to100nm) or preparation and organization of nanoparticles. It is used in chemical, materiials and physical science as well as engineering ,biological , and medical application. Silica, gold, polydimethylsiloxane, cadmium selenide, iron oxide, and carbon are materials that show its transformative power.  Nanomaterial as (a) according to dimentions: 1- zero dimensions all three dimensions are at nanoscale like quantum dots (ZnO,PbS),nanogold,… 2-one dimensions such as carbon nanotubesw,Ni wires,…. 3- two dimensions like nano films (Ag,Au,…) 4-three dimensions like composite and clusters (polymers with nanoparticles) polystyrene with nano MgO. (b)-According to shape: 1-Nanoparticles or nanospheres: like quantum dots (ZnO,PbS),nanogold 2-Nanotubes or nanowires or nanorods: like carbon nanotubesw,Ni wires 3-Nanoscale thin films or ultra-thin films: like nano films (Ag,Au,…) 4-Nanocomposites: a material comprised of many nanoscale inclusions (such as nanoparticles) for example, Polymer nanocomposite consist of a polynmer or copolymer having nanoperticles dispersed in the polymer matrix. Polymer nanotechnology group will develop enabling techniques for the patterning of functional surfaces. Polymeric nanoparticles are biocompatible, biodegradable (Chitosan (Samy et al. 2020), human serum albumin, or bovine serum albumin) and play a prominent role in therapeutic and receptor –mediated drug delivery (Amin et al. 2018 , Samy et al. 2019, Samy  et al. 2021, Samy et al. 2022, Samy et al. 2023)  . Based on the preparation method, these are shaped like nanocapsules and nanospheres, accommodating improved stability. Nanopolymer whereas the nanopertices are colloidal systems with a range size of 10-1000 nm (Amin et al. 2018 , Samy et al. 2019), it can be loaded with active compounds entrapped within or surface-adsorbed onto the polymeric core. The term “nanoparticle” stands for both nanocapsules and nanospheres, which are distinguished by the morphological structure. However, there are various methods used for the preparation of polymeric nanoparticles such as  solvent evaporation (Samy  et al. 2021, Samy et al. 2022), nanoprecipatation, salting out, spray drying and supercritical fluid, desolvation, dialysis, electrospinng(Samy et al. 2023) , ionic gelation (Samy et al. 2020). However, the choice of an appropriate method depends upon various factors. 5-Nanostructured materials: a material that exhibits a unique structure that can be measured at the nanoscale. (c) According to composition: 1-Carbon Based Materials( hollow spheres, ellipsoids, or tubes. Spherical and ellipsoidal , Carbon Nanotubes/Fullerenes). 2-Metal Based Materials (quantum dots, nanogold, nanosilver and metal oxides, such as titanium dioxide). 3-Dendrimers (nanosized polymers built from branched units) like polyimidomethyimethaacrylate (PMMA). 4-Composites(combine nanoparticles with other nanoparticles or with larger, bulk-type materials, polystyrene with nano MgO). 5- Inorganic-Organic Hybrid Nanoparticles (Polyhedral Silsesquioxanes). 6-Nano-Intermediates like metal alkoxides (titanium isopropoxide).

Looking forward to your nice contributions.
