Environmental Security and Ecoterrorism
Special Issue Information
In a world where technological advancements and environmental concerns are increasingly intertwined with global security, the Journal of Infrastructure, Policy and Development is curating a special issue titled “Environmental Security and Ecoterrorism”. This issue will serve as a platform for diverse perspectives on how environmental security challenges and ecoterrorism shape policy decisions, impact infrastructure development, and drive the global environmental agenda. It also aims to provide a scholarly platform for debates on how innovation intersects with ecological preservation and the ways in which policy can evolve to address the challenges and opportunities that arise at this intersection.
Submissions are invited to contribute to a balanced discourse that not only scrutinizes the risks but also the potential of technologies and strategies to enhance environmental security. We welcome papers that propose policy solutions that consider the ethical, social, and legal dimensions of environmental security and the motivations behind ecological activism and interventions, including those aimed at pressing for change.
