This Special Issue is dedicated to Professor Li Yining, a pioneer of economic reform in China, passed away on February 27, 2023, at the age of 92.

 

Professor Li Yining was one of the most influential economists in China. He was the Founding Dean and Honorary Dean of Peking University Guanghua School of Management and his teaching career lasted over 60 years. He spent much of his life conducting groundbreaking research and advocating for economic reform and making pioneering contributions to socialist market economic theory in China. Prof. Li was highly respected both as an individual and as an outstanding educator. His academic works helped the world better understand China's development and will inspire us to move forward.

 

This Memorial Issue gives us an opportunity to pay tribute to Prof. Li. We hereby kindly invite you to submit your work in honor of Prof Li's extraordinary achievements. In addition, any memories you may have of and/or with him that you would like to share is also welcomed.
