International Day of Forests

November 1971, at the 16th of session of the Conference of the Food and Agriculture Organization, the “State members” vote to establish “World Forestry Day” on March 21 of each year.

Let us remark the importance of forests:

  • Forests are the lungs of the Earth, trees and plants take in carbon dioxide and support us oxygen.
  • Wood from forest as the renewable energy, is the source of paper, construction.
  • Forest could regulate the earth’s climate as the ecological strategy.
