Abstract


With the improvement of the domestic economic level, the phenomenon of cross-regional exchange of different national cultures
has become increasingly common. Society and schools have placed higher demands on students’ English listening, speaking, and comprehen_x005fsion skills. In light of this, schools should keep pace with the times, innovate the teaching methods for English listening and speaking, and
depart from the traditional forms of English instruction in higher education institutions to meet the needs of contemporary development while
enhancing teaching efficiency. The transformation brought about by advanced technology has diversified teaching methods, allowing teachers
to utilize online platforms for instruction. This paper will analyze teaching strategies for English listening and speaking at vocational colleges
and universities within the framework of online platforms.
