Healthcare is a major economic driver around the world. Welfare services in developing countries are also emphasizing health care. The convergence of emerging approaches such as advanced materials, artificial intelligence, machine learning, 3D bioprinting, blockchain and genomics have potential to carry out diagnosis and treatment process at next level. However, aging population, technological innovation, social equality and more complex patient needs are straining finance, environment (social and nature), industrial manufacturing, urban planning and policy, threatening healthcare management's sustainability. For this reason, new management and evaluation tools and techniques that integrate healthcare and social perspectives have been developed to evaluate new health programs. For these reasons, new management and evaluation tools and techniques aimed at assessing the value of new health programs have been designed to integrate healthcare and social perspectives.


This issue discusses the pros and cons of healthcare technologies used to create devices, treatment methods, management platforms, and socioeconomic status, as well as their biocompatibility and commercialization. Digital technologies for infectious, lifestyle and chronic diseases, require new methods, care management, financial, organizational efficiency, and program evaluation. Integration, coordination, and quality of care were also hampered by new health professional roles and shifting tasks.
