Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Renewable energy is the most effective tool to reduce the effects of climate change. It presents two advantages: its use reduces the consumption of fossil fuels and produces less carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases. For this reason, renewable energy and CO2 capture are playing an important role in climate change mitigation.

This special issue aims to publish the latest scientific, technical and economic developments in renewable energies and carbon dioxide capture. It covers all areas related to these topics and also the process simulation. High quality and original paper that explore areas of are sought. Reviews that provide emerging solutions and visions for future research activities are also invited to contribute to this Special Issue.

Topics of interest for publication include, but are not limited to, the following:

· CO2 capture or storage

· Combination of CO2 capture with renewable energy production

· Renewable energy production and storage

· Renewable energy scenarios

· Renewable energy strategies and policies

· Simulation process
