Chemical process simulation is a powerful tool for the design, optimization, and control of different chemical processes. It allows engineers to predict the behavior of a process under different conditions, identify potential problems, and optimize the process for efficiency and sustainability. In the oil and gas industry, chemical process simulation is used to design and optimize oil and gas extraction, refining, and processing plants. It is also used to optimize the production of petrochemicals, which are the basic building blocks for many products, including plastics, fertilizers, and pharmaceuticals.

This Special Issue will explore the latest advances in simulation, optimization and control of chemical engineering processes. It will cover a wide range of topics, including:

  • The design and simulation of any chemical engineering processes
