Special Issue Information

The importance of catalysts in organic reactions lies in the fact that they are a great reduction of time and yield , and they are also considered environmentally friendly methods, as the catalyst can be recovered in a simple way and reused for several cycles that may reach 10 catalyst cycles or more, which makes the catalytic work more economical.

Recently, nanocatalysts appeared that are characterized by their ease of preparation as well as their ease of retrieval, as well as their effects on organic reactions, as they led to shortening reaction times by approximately 90% and improving the yield obtained by approximately 30-50% compared to traditional methods.

There are some catalytic reactions in which advanced technologies such as microwaves, ultrasound, and even grinding were used, which had an excellent effect on the amount of product and reduced the time required to conduct the reaction.

These compounds must be diagnosed as the scanning electron microscope (SEM) gives excellent results used to identify the synthesis nanocatalysts. Also, NMR and Mass spectra can be used to diagnose new organic compounds.

Also, these compounds can be linked to antibiotics by using the Docking program to find out the suitability of the synthesis compounds for sticking to bacteria or enzymes with dynamic forces through the use of theoretical programs, and calculating the energies of molecules in the prepared organic compounds.
