Special Issue Information

Green chemistry is inspired by the concept of sustainable development. It integrates the optimization of efficiency and energy cost, Also interested in natural resources and renewable energy who respects the environment, health and well-being of consumers.  Among, the privileged fields of this discipline, biotransformation and recovery of organic waste (agricultural, poultry, fisheries and food), the treatment of industrial and urban effluents (water, leachate, sludge), reuse of materials, the rationalization of resources, the economy of atoms, efficiency in the exploitation of sustainable and renewable energies, the use of non-toxic substances, prevention, training and reduction of the impact on health and the environment, For that, we must develop green chemistry both as a source of raw materials, as a source of energy and as a tool that respects the environment and public health, Innovation and research to develop biotechnological tools, and sustainable processes will have an important role in the development and application of the principles of green chemistry.
