Dear Colleagues,

 

It is well known that heat pipe has the advantages of high thermal conductivity, excellent isothermal property, adjustable heat flux and reversible heat flux direction. As a high efficient and energy-saving heat transfer technology, heat pipe has been widely used in aerospace, energy power, refrigeration and air conditioning fields.

 

There are many kinds of heat pipes, according to the working liquid reflux power, divided into non-power of gravity heat pipe and power of heat pipe. According to the structure, it is divided into ordinary heat pipe, separated heat pipe, miniature heat pipe, flat heat pipe and so on. The performance optimization of various heat pipes and the energy-saving effect of different application scenarios are still the hot topics of scientific research at present.

 

This Special Issue focuses on all aspects of  Heat Pipe Technology.  Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

 

1) Heat Pipe Technology Research in Microgravity Environment

2) Performance research and energy-saving application of dynamic heat pipe

3) Performance research and energy-saving application of miniature heat pipe
