The special issue themed on “Recent Advancement in the Drug Discovery for the Treatment and Management of Various Diseases and Disorders: Preclinical to Clinical Studies” aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the latest advancements in drug discovery for the treatment and management of various human ailments. The special issue will cover a wide range of topics, including the preclinical and clinical studies, drug design and development, and therapeutic strategies for various diseases and disorders, including cancer, infectious diseases, neurological disorders, cardiovascular diseases, and metabolic disorders. The special issue will also highlight the challenges and opportunities in drug discovery and development, including the use of advanced technologies and the importance of collaboration among researchers, clinicians, and industry partners.
Scope:
The special issue invites original research articles, reviews, and perspectives on the following topics:
a. Preclinical and clinical studies of novel drugs for the treatment and management of various diseases and disorders
b. Drug design and development, including the use of computational methods, machine learning, and artificial intelligence
c. Therapeutic strategies for cancer, infectious diseases, neurological disorders, cardiovascular diseases, and metabolic disorders
d. Target identification, validation, and drug discovery approaches
e. Pharmacological and toxicological studies of drug candidates
f. Clinical trials and regulatory approval of new drugs
g. Challenges and opportunities in drug discovery and development, including the use of advanced technologies.
