Abstract     Nowadays, one of the main marketing objectives of the new generation of turboprop aircrafts is the noise control to enhance the internal comfort. The propellers represent in fact the main noise source whose amplitude and frequencies depend on some design parameters such as its rotational angular speed, number of blades, power at shaft generating aircraft thrust and blades geometry. The higher energy levels are within the low-frequency region, corresponding in particular to the first blade passing frequency and its harmonics. The design goal is therefore to increase the passenger comfort level by controlling the propeller tonal noise and related vibrations. The present paper is aimed at discuss some relevant technological solutions to minimize the fuselage internal noise field at the passengers positions at each of the first three tones of the propeller load as well as due to other external aero-acoustic sources.

Abstract Throughout the urban development process over the last seven decades in Tehran, Iran many self-generated neighbourhoods have developed, in which the majority of the residents are low-income families. The main spatial attribute of these deprived neighbourhoods in space syntax terms is spatial isolation from the surrounding, more affluent areas, which is accompanied by inadequate urban infrastructure and a lack of accessibility and permeability. This paper discusses a method of developing a route filtering system for identifying the most suitable streets for the creation of a pedestrian-friendly network, using an example of a deprived area, in order to integrate it with the surrounding urban fabric. The theory of ‘Natural Movement’ formed the basis of the research, the spatial pattern being analysed through Space Syntax using Depthmap software and GIS. The results showed that it is possible to identify the underlying spatial pattern using this approach and this could form a very cost effective basis for developing a pedestrian friendly street network, in order to release the deprived area from its spatial isolation.

Abstract The article focuses on the strategic role and peculiarities of the cluster innovative structures formation for ensuring competitiveness and economic development. Based on the generalization of the cluster theory evolution and taking into account the current state of the world economic development, the expediency of a new fundamentally approach to the formation and development of clusters as an effective form of supply chain management and ensuring their competitiveness have been substantiated. The place of clusters infrastructure type in the supply chains management has been determined. The characteristic of modern properties, strategic role, goals and priority tasks of transport-logistics clusters of an innovative type in providing the transport-logistic infrastructure development and formation of perfect supply chains have been presented. The systematic presentation presents the advantages, disadvantages, and risks of cluster organizational management forms and their impact on the competitiveness of supply chains. The efficiency of cluster structures has been analyzed. The directions and sources for obtaining synergistic effect from the interaction of supply chain participants in cluster structures have been determined. The probability of obtaining the “value added” effect in cluster structures has been proved. The strategic prospects of transport-logistics clusters development in Ukraine have been determined.
