Prof. Hongtai Yang

Hongtai Yang received the Ph.D. degree in transportation engineering and M.S. degree in statistics from The University of Tennessee at Knoxville, USA. He is currently an Associate Professor in the School of Transportation and Logistics, Southwest Jiaotong University, Chengdu, China. His research has been funded by various foundations and agencies, including National Natural Science Foundation of China and China Postdoctoral Science Foundation. He has received the China Intelligent Transportation Association Science and Technology Award. His research area includes travel behavior, GIS-T, transportation safety, and public transit planning.

 

As a young scientist, Prof. Yang has published 34 articles, 190 sum of times cited (data from WOS). Prof. Yang always keeps doing researches, and he has published 9 academic articles in 2019, 6 articles in 2020, 9 articles in 2021, and 10 articles in 2022. As the first author, Prof. Yang has published an article titled by “Expected Length of the Shortest Path of the Traveling Salesman Problem in 3D Space”, which published by Journal Of Advanced Transportation (IF=2.249) in May 2022.
