Professor Radosław Wolniak, an employee of the Department of Economy and Informatics of the Faculty of Organization and Management at the Silesian University of Technology, received the Polish Quality Award 2023. This distinction was awarded in the Science category.

Polish Individual Quality Award named after prof. Edward Kindlarski is awarded to people whose work stands out in terms of quality, both in practical and theoretical dimensions. In the 26th edition, prof. Radosław Wolniak received an individual distinction - the Award named after prof. Edward Kindlarski in the category: Science. 

The summary of the 26th edition of the Polish Quality Award 2023 was the ceremonial distribution of medals and statuettes, combined with the presentation of the QUALITY OF THE YEAR Promotional Emblem and the EUROPEAN QUALITY CERTIFICATE® for 2022 and 2023. The event took place on December 12, 2023, in the historic spaces of the Warsaw House of Technology and gathered over 80 people committed to quality and excellence. Those gathered included: Teresa Sosnowska, vice-president of the Polish Committee for Standardization, as well as prof. Stanisław Tkaczyk, Honorary Chairman of the Award Chapter. The event was also attended by prof. Gertruda Uścińska, president of the Social Insurance Institution.
