Prof. Adam Reich received his PhD from the Wroclaw Medical University, Wroclaw, Poland where his topic of Phd Thesis is Selected neuropeptides in the patients suffering from psoriasis. Since Between March 2013 and September 2017 he was a full-time Professor at the Department of Dermatology, Venereology and Allergology, Wroclaw Medical University, Wroclaw, Poland. Since October 2017 he is a Head of the Department of Dermatology, Unversity of Rzeszow, Rzeszow, Poland. He has joined many professional societies such as European Society for Dermatology and Psychiatry, European Society of Cutaneous Lupus Erythematosus, International Forum on the Study of Itch, and Association for Psychocutaneous Medicine of North America. He is an author and coauthor of 136 original articles, 86 reviews and 71 case reports where the total impact factor is >250 and the total citations is >3000. He is also an editor of 4 books, author of 3 monographies, 37 book chapters and 336 congress reports. His contribution in academic as well research world has been recognized by receiving many awards including Prof. Zdzisław Ruszczak Award for the scientific activity in psoriasis in 2011, Wroclaw Medical University Chancellor’s Award for publication series on clinical aspects of pruritus in 2010, Best poster award – 12th Congress of the European Society for Dermatology and Psychiatry, Wrocław and Prof. Feliks Wąsik Award for the best Polish dermato-oncology paper on 2007.
