Prof. Annegret Kuhn (born May 12, 1967 in Heidelberg, Germany) is a German dermatologist. She is now appointed as a Head of the Interdisciplinary Center for Clinical Studies (IZKS) at the University Medical Center of the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz. Since then, Kuhn has taken over the management of the Interdisciplinary Center for Clinical Studies (IZKS). In this function, she is involved in numerous scientific disciplines in the organization and implementation of clinical trials and translational research across Europe. From 1994 to 2008, Kuhn worked as a doctor at the dermatological clinic of the University Hospital in Düsseldorf. Besides, she also received the specialist for dermatology and venereology as well as the laboratory specialist. From 2007 to 2008 she was an extraordinary professor at the University of Düsseldorf. After the change, she worked as a senior physician to the Clinic for Skin Diseases of the University Hospital in Münster, the rehabilitation to the University of Munster. In January 2016, Kuhn acquired the Venia Legendi and an APL professorship at the University of Mainz. Since 2010, Kuhn has completed numerous further training courses in the field of clinical and scientific management such as Hospital Management for Medical Directors and Senior Consultants, Principal Investigator for Clinical Trials, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and Problem-Oriented Learning (POL). From 2011 to 2013 she also completed the "Healthcare Management" course with the Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Bayreuth. In addition, Prof. Kuhn has been a member of the scientific advisory council for European Society of Cutaneous Lupus Erythematosus (EUSCLE) e.V. and dvisory board for TRON (translational oncology at the university medicine of the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz gGmbH). She is also a Member in several Editorial Boards, Advisory Boards and Expert Groups including National and International Clinical and Scientific Societies. Throughout her involvement in research world, she has been published more than 150 articles with 25 book chapters and be an author or editor of 2 books.
