Prof. Toshikazu Kondo

Prof. Toshikazu Kondo is currently a professor of Department of Forensic Medicine, Wakayama Medical University. He graduated from the Medical School in Kanazawa University. Previously, he was a guest researcher in Institute for Legal Medicine at Free University of Berlin as well as at University Munich. His primary interest is in the skin immunology, immunopharmacology as well as tissue repair. His research contributions have been recognized by a number of awards including 35th Young Investigator Award from The Japanese Society for Wound Healing, Best Poster Prize Basic Research from The First World Wound Healing Congress as well as Young Investigator Award from The Japanese Association of Criminology. Prof. Toshikazu has been involved in many professional activities such are The American Society for Investigative Pathology, Japanese Society for Clinical Toxicology, and The American Association of Immunologists. From 2015 until now, he has been appointed as a president for the Japanese Association of Forensic Pathology.
