Prof. Yongquan Zhou received his Bachelor degree of mathematics from Xianyang normal college, China in 1983 and the Master degree of computer science from Lanzhou University, China, in 1993. In 2006, he received his Doctor of Philosophy in Model identification and Artificial system from Xidan University, China. He has started his teaching career with Guangxi Minzu University from 1985 till now. He was promoted to Professor in 2000 and appointed to be the dean of the Faculty of Information Science and Technology from 2010 to 2020.Now Pro.Zhou is the head of Guangxi Key Laboratories of Hybrid Computation and IC Design Analysis. He has been the supervisor for Master and Philosophy students both in Guangxi Minzu University and Guangxi University. He also is the editor or the guest editor and the reviewer of many international journals like Applied Soft Computing, PLoS One, Applied Intelligence and so on. His research interest lies in the area of computation artificial, artificial algorithms and AI application He has published over 275 papers at international journals and Chinese top journals and 3 monographs. Among of them, 200 paper are indexed by SCI and EI, and 7 papers are highly cited by ESI. Pro.Zhou has completed 3 research projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC)and 12 research projects of provincial level. Pro.Zhou’s outstanding performance lead him to enter in Top 2% Scientists in the World in 2021 and Lifetime Achievement List of Top 2% Scientists in the World in 2022-2023.
