Prof. Li-Ping Zou is the Chief Director of the
pediatric department at the 301 Hospital and Center of Pediatric medicine at the
Chinese PLA General Hospital in Beijing.
Prof. Li-Ping Zou studied medicine at the Capital
Medical University of Beijing, graduating in 1983, and later completed her
Ph.D. at the Karolinska Institute in Sweden in 2000. In 2001 she became the
Chief Director in the Department of Neurology and Centre of Rehabilitation at
Beijing Children’s Hospital.
She also
became a standing committee member of the China
Association Against Epilepsy (CAAE), a standing committee member of
the Society for Neuroscience and a standing committee
member of the Chinese Medical Association of Pediatric Neurologists.
She is an editor of 12 medical journals and She is an author of more than 260 publications in peer-reviewed journals,
mainly in the areas neurology.
