Dr. Nick S.H. Chung graduated from The University of Hong Kong, Department of Industrial Manufacturing and Systems Engineering in 2001. He obtained his MPhil and PhD in 2004 and 2007 respectively at the same University. He has rich research experience on optimization problems in transportation. He is strong in mathematical modeling, linear/integer programming, machine learning, big data, column generation, branch and bound/cut, genetic algorithm, neuron network, cascading neural network, and many other meta-heuristics. He has published more than 60 Web of Science listed international journal papers, including Risk Analysis, Transportation Research Part E, IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, OMEGA – International Journal of Management Science, etc.
