Dr. Adetunji Charles Oluwaseun is lecturer at Landmark University where he utilized the application of biological techniques and microbial bioprocesses for the actualization of sustainable development goals and Agrarian revolution, through quality teaching, research, and community development. He started his career at Nigerian Ptored Product Research Institutes (NSPRI), Ilorin, Nigeria. As Principal Research Scientist at NSPRI, he developed a lots of novel, biodegradable edible coatings for postharvest management and extension of self-life of fruits and vegetables. He has won a lot of scientific awards and grants from renowned academic bodies like Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), and Department of Biotechnology (DBT) India, The World Academy of Science (TWAS), Netherlands Fellowship Programme (NPF), among many others. He has published more than 70 papers in international refereed journals. The breadth of his scholarly contributions to research are evident from his contributions, which cover topics relating to food security and environmental sustainability. His research interest includes Microbiology, Biotechnology, Post-harvest management and Nanotechnology. He has carried out most of his scientific findings/translatory research in response to societal needs in order to spur a new wave of research-driven innovations for sustainable development. He is an editorial board member of many international journal and also serves as a reviewer to many double-blind peer review journals like Elsevier, Springer etc. He has supervised many postgraduate students at national and international level.
