Dr. Eyüp Yılmaz is an Associate Professor of the
Department of Elementary Education at Aydın Adnan
Menderes University. He graduated from Department of
Elementary Education, Atatürk University. His master
thesis focus on determining the association between
candidate’s teacher’s habits of reading newspaper and
magazines and their media and critical literacy skills. He
received his Ph.D. degree from Department of
Elementary Education, Gazi University. In the doctoral
dissertation, it was investigated whether the video and
traditional game types preferred by children predict their
social problem-solving skills and moral development. He
does researches addressing videogames and traditional
games children played, videogame addiction, social problem-solving skills and moral development in children. He also has interest in scale development and adaptation studies. The researcher has dozens of articles and international conference papers on his fields of study as well as book and book chapters.
