Dr. Junli Li

Dr. Junli Li received the B.Eng. degree in geographic information science and the Ph.D. degree in photogrammetry and remote sensing from Wuhan University, Wuhan, China, in 2002 and 2007, respectively. He is currently a researcher with the Xinjiang Institute of Ecology and Geography, Chinese Academy of Science, Ürümqi, China. He is also working on regional lake mapping and lake change analyses in Central Asia in the context of global climate change. His research interests include remotely sensed information extraction, change detection, and lake dynamics in arid regions.
