Dr. Kenawy is currently a lecturer in physical geography in the Department of Geography, Mansoura University (Egypt). His research interests and activities are multidisciplinary, involving geography, atmospheric sciences, water resources management, geographic information sciences and remote sensing. In particular, his research squarely explores human-environment interactions, with special attention to climate change and variability across a variety of different spatial and temporal scales. Guided by observational results, he employs climate model output, numerical simulations, besides powerful techniques such as remote sensing and geographic information systems, to investigate atmospheric system and processes.
