University of Tehran

My name is mohammad pourjafar. I burn in rasht (Small town in north of iran) central of Guilan province in 1987. I started my undergraduate plan (Batchlor of science) in 2005 in university of Guilan in Mechanical Engineering ( heat and fluids branch). In 2009 I could obtain first rank between all of my colleages in heat and fluid field by GA 17.34/20. My batchlor thesis in my undergraduate was “study of effective parameters such as pressure, heat capacity and temperature of working fluid on performance of Miller cycle of internal combustion engines”.
In 2009 I success to enter on master program in field of energy conversion at university of Tehran. My intrinsic interest to tensorian Mechanics caused to my attention in special branch of fluid mechanics known as “Non-Newtonian Fluid mechanics” which focuses on interaction between nonnewtonian fluid particles. It is worth mentioning that intrinsic complexity on the rheology of Nonnewtonian fluids caused to unevitable referring to computer solvers to overcome complexity seen in this special materials. My master thesis in my graduate (master of science) was “ investigating pressure driven flows of viscoelastic fluids between two fixed concentric cylinders” under supervision of Prof. Kayvan Sadeghy. Focusing on INSTABILITY criteria in my master thesis lead to publish two important ISI papers published (in 2012) in journals entitled as” Journal of Non-Newtonian Fluid mechanics” and “ journal of society of Rheology of Japan”. Finaly I could gaduate from my master of science of Mechanical Engineering (Energy conversion branch) with GA17.42/20 in 2011.
Using two ISI papers extracted from my master of science thesis in combination with GA 17.42 lead to use of Talent Brillant chance to accept in PhD program of University of tehran without participating on entrance Exam of PhD program in 2012.
In PhD program I seriously focused on subject of STABILITY in flow dynamics of Non-Newtonian fluids in flexible environements(Fluid and Solid interaction problems knowns as FSI problems) under supervision of Prof. Kayvan Sadegy. I could publish several ISI papers in my PhD program which listed in below. My PhD thesis focuse on capturing flow critical conditions to get unstable modes in FSI problems which entitled as ”investigating of interfacial instability of thixoplastic fluids in two dimensional poiseuille flow ”. my PhD thesis lead to publish three ISI papers all of them in journal of Nonnewtonian fluid mechanics. finally I success to defence of my PhD thesis in September 2017 and I could graduate from PhD program with GA 18.10/20.
In below I listed ISI papers published from master of science up to yet.
