Aims & Scope

Journal of Analytical Chromatography and Spectroscopy is an international open access journal and publishes original research articles and review articles related to all areas of chromatography and spectroscopy. This journal will highlight the development and practices in sample preparation and specific derivatization for Mass Spectrometry and Chromatography, and the connection of the analytical instrumentation in combinations for providing a high accuracy measurement as in Gas Chromatography-Mass spectrometry (GC-MS), Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) with Supersonic Molecular Beam (SMB), High Speed Gas Chromatography-Mass spectrometry (HSGC-MS), Supercritical Fluid Chromatography-Mass spectrometry (SFC-MS), Liquid Chromatography-Mass spectrometry (LC-MS) and Capillary Electrophoresis-Mass spectrometry (CE-MS) as well as using these combination of instrumentation in Mass Spectroscopy for molecular structure elucidation in organic and inorganic molecules, etc.

JACS receives the financial support of Asia Pacific Academy of Science Pte. Ltd., hence the APC is free for authors for the time being. The editorial office of JACS expresses its sincere thanks to the sponsor.

Waiver Policy

JACS is committed to promoting the academic development in the world without any financial barrier to knowledge sharing and learning. There has developed a waiver policy especially for authors from low-income countries. Authors who are interested in applying for a waiver could contact editorial-jacs@enpress-publisher.com. JACS reserves the right to approve or reject a waiver application.

How to submit

  • Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in Microsoft Word format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  5. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

The journal is striving to be indexed in first-class databases for maximum exposure of its publishing. Any queries or questions are welcomed.
