Dr. Worku Negash Mhiret

Doctor Worku Negash Mhiret is the coordinator of Education quality of Audit in the College of Natural and Computational Sciences, University of Gondar, Ethiopia. More manuscripts on plant breeding and heritability are on the way to be published. He is a recognized teacher in teachering different courses related to principle and molecular genetics both at under graduate and post graduate levels and advising post graduate students for their research work and thesis write up. He is also expert in DNA extraction, electrophoresis, and molecular level data analysis and in application of some bio- informatics teachniques. Dr. Worku is experienced in reviewing research proposals and articles invited by different publishers and assigned by the university of Gondar and Ministry of Education as core committee conferences. After obtaining aBSc. Degree in Biology from Asmara University. Eritrea- former administrative region of Ethiopia in 1989, he started teaching at Kibre-Mengist High school and after some years’ service he joined Addis Ababa University to continue his MSc. Studies in Applied Genetics. As soon as completing the MSc. He joined the university of Gondar in 2003 where he shared responsibilities in the administration of the university research projects. Dr. Worku Negash  joined university of leicester, UK programme in 2014 Dr. Worku Negash established strong link with his supervisor and other scientists and researchers from the university of Leicester to work on mega research projects.
