Prof. Dr. Plamen Zahariev

Dr. Plamen Zahariev is a full time Professor and Vice-Head for the scientific activities of the Department of Telecommunications at the University of Ruse "Angel Kanchev". He has more than 17 years of teaching and research experience. Dr. Zahariev is member of IEEE, ACM and Mosharaka for Research and Studies and is author or co-author of more than 150 scientific publications. His research interests include topics the area of the wireless communications, the sensor networks, the IP networks and systems, the virtualization and cloud technologies, the robotics and embedded systems, the network security and cybersecurity domains and the 3D technologies, including the 3D modeling, the 3D digitalization and the 3D printing. He was team member, coordinator and project manager in more than 25 national and international educational and scientific projects.
