He is a seasoned professor with extensive expertise in research, academic instruction, and administrative leadership within the domains of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), technical field, administration field, and higher education. He served as a founding volunteer member of Apex American University (Alawael University) in Yemen (Ash Shihr – Mukalla), where he held key leadership positions, including Rector Consultant and Director of the Department of Computer and Information Technology, as well as Assistant Professor at the National Institute of Administrative Sciences (NIAS). In addition to directing the Information Technology Department at the Public University in Mukalla & Ash Shihr, he later assumed the role of Head of the Network Engineering and IT Department at Apex American University, prior to its closure and the termination of its operations.  


His academic appointments span multiple national and international institutions, where he has served as Assistant Professor at both public and private universities, including a volunteer post at the College of Business, Department of Information Systems. He also provided student and academic counseling at NIAS, in addition to working as Visiting Senior Professor at Shabwah University and Engineering & Technical Consultant for Brothers Company for Construction & Trading. He also worked as Technical & Engineering Affairs Consultant to the Vice President of Shabwah University for Academic Affairs.  


In July 2018, he earned his PhD with distinction in just over a year—an exceptional accomplishment recognized for both academic excellence and efficiency. During his postgraduate tenure, he was honored with numerous accolades for impactful scholarship and appointed as a reviewer and editor for prominent journals and conferences affiliated with standards such as AIP, IOP, Q2, and IEEE, contributing across countries including the USA, UK, France, Brazil, and Malaysia.  



He is an accomplished researcher with a proven track record of impactful publications and a growing citation base. His work demonstrates sustained influence in the field of computer science and Communication & Information Technology, with a strong h-index and numerous widely cited papers that reflect both theoretical depth and practical relevance. He has addressed critical challenges in areas such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data-driven systems, and his contributions have been recognized for advancing knowledge while fostering collaborations across institutions. With a portfolio of highly cited papers and a consistent record of scholarly productivity, he continues to shape discourse in the academic community and drive innovation in his discipline.


His research portfolio features numerous publications indexed in leading databases including IEEE, ISI, and Scopus. Beyond academia, he possesses broad experience in institutional and executive administration, having held various senior leadership roles. He is an active member of respected professional associations such as AIS, IEEE, and AIENG across the USA, Malaysia, and China. His scholarly work includes the creation of a pioneering theory that introduced a new paradigm in software and information systems engineering.  


He is a distinguished researcher in computer science, information systems engineering, and software engineering, with a strong record of contributions to system success measurement, web-based systems quality frameworks, and advanced computational methods. His doctoral and master’s theses laid the foundation for evaluating information system success in higher education, and his subsequent publications introduced validated instruments, pilot-tested frameworks, and innovative models such as Ibrahim’s Triangle Model for measuring satisfaction, benefit, and loyalty. He has advanced ISO 25010-based approaches for web-based systems, integrating information systems and software engineering theories to produce novel frameworks widely recognized in academic discourse. Beyond these foundational studies, his research extends into diverse areas including software-defined networking, lean manufacturing applications, optical communication technologies, and numerical methods such as Wang-Ball polynomials. His forthcoming books and ongoing research further expand into cutting-edge domains such as drones, IoT, artificial intelligence, blockchain, and 6G technologies, reflecting his commitment to bridging theoretical innovation with practical applications. Through this diverse body of work, he has established himself as a thought leader whose scholarship continues to shape discourse in academic and technological communities while driving innovation across disciplines.
