Dr. Pietro Russo

Dr. Russo Pietro graduated with Laude in Chemical Engineering at the University of Salerno on 1991. Since 1998 he is a researcher of the National Research of Council (CNR). Currently, he is responsible for the Laboratory of Mechanical Properties at the Institute for Polymers, Composites and Biomaterials of the CNR. His research interests include polymer processing technologies, sustainable polymer composites and nanocomposites, mechanical and damage behaviour of thermoplastic composite laminated structures. In these fields he has been the scientific responsible of many funded research projects. He is co-author of more than 150 publications in peer-reviewed journals, 3 book chapters, more than 250 communications mainly submitted to international conferences and co-editor of 1 Elsevier Book.
