Dr. Chelliah Koventhan is a researcher in the field of materials science, specializing in the development and investigation of advanced nanomaterials for energy storage applications, electrochemical sensors, and photocatalysis. Currently, he serves as Postdoctoral Fellow at the Institute of Electro-Optical Engineering, National Taiwan Normal University, Taiwan. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Physics from Bharathidasan University, India, and his Master’s degree in Nanoscience and Technology from Bharathiar University, India. He earned his Ph.D. in 2022 from the Department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology, National Taipei University of Technology (NTUT), Taiwan. His research focuses on nanomaterial synthesis and characterization; fabricating selective electrochemical sensors for detecting drugs, pollutants and biomolecules; Advanced nanocomposites for supercapacitors; Photocatalysts for environmental remediation, and CO2 photoreduction.  Dr. Koventhan serves as a Guest Editor for Separations (MDPI) on the special issue "Advances in Electrochemical Catalytic Degradation and Adsorption of Environmental Pollutants Using Nanomaterials" and for Processes (MDPI) on the special issue "Advances in Electrode Materials for Energy Storage Applications." Additionally, he is a Topical Advisory Panel Member for the Processes journal in the Materials Processes section. As a dedicated peer reviewer, he has reviewed SCI/SCIE journal articles for prestigious journals such as the Chemical Engineering Journal, Journal of Energy Storage, Applied Materials Today, Journal of Environmental Chemical Engineering, ACS Applied Nanomaterials, and Surfaces and Interfaces, significantly contributing to advancements in nanomaterials and electrochemistry.
