Dr. Mohsen Naraghi

Mohsen Naraghi is a clinical board faculty of Tehran University of Medical Sciences with academic postgraduate teaching experience in Otorhinolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery since 1994. He is double-board certified in both otolaryngology—head and neck surgery and facial plastic and reconstructive surgery and fellowship certified in rhinology.
He was ranked first among all the national graduates of medicine, was awarded the first rank in the national comprehensive medical examinations, graded first in the national board examinations in otolaryngology—head and neck surgery, and also became the fellow of the European board of otorhinolaryngology—head and neck surgery. He continued his training in facial plastic surgery and rhinology fellowship, receiving the international board for certification in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery.
In 2004, the Iranian President handed him the national award for the best research in surgery. Dr. Naraghi was the winner of the international award of the American Rhinologic Society (ARS) in 2005. He was also granted the international award for excellence in medical sciences in the innovation in clinical medicine in 2011. He was awarded the American Academy of Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery Honor Award in recognition of his distinguished service on committees, scientific programs, continuing education courses and instruction courses to the Academy in 2015. He was also awarded committee excellence award for his distinguished services on the humanitarian efforts committee of the American Academy of Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery in 2016.
Being an active member of both the American Academy of Facial Plastic Reconstructive Surgery and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, Dr. Naraghi has conducted extensive research in the field of facial plastic surgery. He is also a fellow of the American Rhinology Society. In the Middle East he serves one of the region’s most prestigious medical events, as the founder and president of the Middle East Congress on Rhinology and Facial Plastic Surgery, which is well-known as MERC. As the pioneer of many rhinologic surgeries including endonasal endoscopic laser surgery in Iran, Dr. Naraghi founded both Iranian Rhinology Society and the Rhinology Research Society.
More than three hundred articles and chapters in rhinology and facial plastic surgery including eighty international papers have been published by Dr. Naraghi. He has instructed in more than sixty courses, hands-on and live surgery workshops on endoscopic surgery, rhinoplasty, facial plastic surgery throughout the world including University of Texas South Western Medical Center workshops, Dallas Rhinoplasty & Cosmetic Surgery Symposia, New York Cutting Edge Aesthetic Surgery and the American Academy of Facial Plastic Reconstructive Surgery meetings. Furthermore, Dr. Naraghi has published eighteen books in the fields of rhinology and facial plastic surgery, including a two-volume comprehensive rhinology university textbook. His other title “Facial Plastic Surgery” was awarded as the country’s best academic book of the year in 2007. Dr. Naraghi’s Personal Approach to Secondary Rhinoplasty was published as a chapter in the essential first ever global reference on revision rhinoplasty in the United States.
