Was President of four International ENT conferences, Past President Fulbright Alumni Association of Malaysia, President Medico-Legal Society Malaysia and Past Chairman and Board member of Malaysian American Commission for Educational Exchange. Was a Fulbright scholar in 1997 in Rhinology at University of Pittsburgh Medical Centre, USA and conferred Fellow of Academy of Medicine Malaysia, Academy of Science Malaysia and Malaysian Scientific Association in 2000, 2016 and 2017 respectively. Published over 100 Clinical research papers, editor of 4 books and 6 book chapters and over 360 citations.
