Special Issue Information

Dear colleagues,

Future of education relies on accessibility and inclusiveness to ensure that no one is left behind. It is therefore important to consider them in all levels of education based on the values of Universal Design for Learning (UDL). In particular, paying attention to developing practical solutions that can facilitate the lives of people with disabilities, especially in education, is highly needed. It is also crucial to highlight the need for smart services and devices that could help ensuring the equality of education for all. However, all of the aforementioned cannot be achieved without supportive policies and frameworks, as well as radical changes in terms of how we think.

This Special Issue (SI) calls for researches and studies (but not limited to) on technological and pedagogical innovation to ensure inclusive and equitable education. This SI also welcomes innovative policy and framework studies supporting students with disabilities, as well as pilot studies in this regard.
